Ohiopyle, PA - When the Knox family headed over to the Ohiopyle State Park for a late afternoon hike in the forest, they had no idea that they would be credited with one of the oddest horticultural discoveries in recent years.
"My husband and I were admiring the beautiful colors of the foliage when Johnny yelled, 'Look, Mom, this thing's bigger than me!'" explained a stunned Emily Knox. Little Johnny Knox was not exaggerating. The massive leaf has baffled botanists and outdoorsmen alike.
"The size of this specimen is unprecedented," remarked Professor of Horticulture, Bill Wilkes. Where the leaf will be moved to has become the subject of a passionate debate amongst local scientists.
